Chris Holmes

Honours student

Chris Holmes is a fourth-year Geography student at the University of Victoria (UVic), pursuing honours research under the supervision of Dr. Sophia Carodenuto. His research examines sustainability standards in the global cacao trade. His interests in sustainability stem from his four years spent at the Institute for Global Solutions, where he developed a strong passion for addressing climate and sustainable development challenges. Building on this foundation, Chris is preparing for graduate studies and hopes to eventually work in addressing sustainability challenges within businesses.
